  The food was alright. I got the "famous" monster burger i saw all over the billboards before town and it wasn't really what i was expecting. It was a good burger but for $10 bucks it was pretty small and i had no trouble eating it at all. The onion rings were delicious but the poutine was gross. Im not sure what they did but it tasted like they mixed dark chocolate with the gravy and sprinkled a very tiny ammount of cheddar cheese on top, it really did not taste good at all. It was pretty akward and quiet in there, no music unless you wanted to drop a twonie into the juke box for a song.

  I loved the fried chicken. A bit disappointed with the burger. But I will always stop on my way through for the fried chicken.

  Most people passing through don’t realize that Hungry Herbie’s has been around for 30+ years. It’s classic old school food. Thin crunchy French fries, greasy burger patties with all your normal tasty greasy deep fried food options. Food has always been great and with big portions. Better to support this local business than A&W across the street.

  I stop here often on the way through Cache Creek - definitely 100% better than any fast food out there.
